Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in “Public Health”

ACTIVITIES:
* Participation in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health programs at the municipal, regional, or supra-regional level
* Epidemiological analyses, health reporting, and monitoring of preventive and health promotion measures
* Advice to institutions, health authorities, and stakeholders on preventive strategies, vaccination campaigns, health promotion, and disease prevention
* Development, implementation, and evaluation of guidelines and standards in the field of public health
* Coordination of interdisciplinary projects involving epidemiology, social medicine, health economics, nursing, medical statistics, and administration
* Participation in teaching, continuing education, and team supervision
* Participation in relevant committees, networks, and professional associations
