QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in "Throat, Nose & Ear Medicine" (ENT = Otorhinolaryngology) 

ACTIVITIES:
* Specialist diagnostics and conservative treatment of otorhinolaryngology (ENT)
* Patient care in general and specialized consultations (e. g. hearing impairments, tonsils, sinus problems, balance disorders, voice and speech disorders)
* Diagnostic procedures: Endoscopy (nasal, rhinoscopy, laryngoscopic examinations), audiometry, tympanometry, diagnostic imaging as needed
* Surgical procedures within the scope of specialist expertise (e.g., tonsillectomy, polypectomy, septoplasty, minor skull base/ear surgeries depending on the area of ​​application)
* Emergency care and follow-up visits
* Participation in interdisciplinary consultations and collaborative work
* Documentation, billing, and quality management in accordance with applicable guidelines
* Training, supervision, and continuing education of the medical team
* Collaboration with other disciplines
