Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in "Neurology" 

ACTIVITIES:
* Diagnosis and treatment of neurovascular and neurodegenerative diseases according to current guidelines
* Conduct neurological examinations, consultations, and case discussions
* Participation in the further development of the neurology department, quality assurance, and evidence-based practice
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with pain management, intensive care medicine, radiology, rehabilitation, and nursing
* Instruction, supervision, and further development of the medical team
* Participation in teaching, continuing education, and clinical research

A - Practical professional experience (10+ years) in the specialist field B - Clinical experience in neurology/stroke/epileptology/movement disorders/neuroimmunology as plus C - Sound knowledge of diagnostics/therapy/emergency care/imaging (MRT/CT) & EEG/EMG advantageous D - Independent, structured, and responsible working style E - Empathy, teamwork & very good communication skills F - Willingness to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment G - Willingness for shifts and weekend services H - Availability for on-call duty and emergency care depending on the roster I - Very good written and spoken German skills; English & further language skills advantageous
