Job Description

QUALIFICATION:
Successfully completed studies in Human Medicine -> 9-month basic training (rotation) -> specialization basic training as well as specialization focus training in the chosen specialization (duration between 63 and 72 months without studies - depending on the specialization) -> graduation with specialist examination at the Austria Medical Chamber  

Licensed Physician - Specialist Certification in "General & Vascular Surgery" 

ACTIVITIES:
* Independent performance of general surgical operations and treatments, including vascular surgery, according to current guidelines
* Consultation, education, and collaborative planning with patients and their families
* Emergency and acute care, perioperative care, and postoperative follow-up
* Participation in the further development of clinical processes, quality assurance, and evidence-based practices
* Interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology, anaesthesiology, intensive care, the emergency room, internal medicine, and nursing
* Instruction, supervision, and training of the medical team
* Participation in teaching, continuing education, clinical research, and quality management
