Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of “Mechanical Engineering” / “Chemical Engineering” / or “Biomedicine” 
Key curriculum topics - Mechanical Engineering: Design & Project Management / Technical Mechanics & Calculation / Manufacturing & Production Technology / Machinery & Systems / Automation Technology 
Key curriculum topics - Chemical Engineering: Analytical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Biochemistry / Physical Chemistry / Inorganic Technology / Operational Technology / Physical Process, Energy & Environmental Engineering
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option:
1 – Process Engineer -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Successfully completed studies in Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Computer Science or a related field - alternatively, relevant training with further training in Process Management 

ACTIVITIES:
* Analysis, design and optimization of production and business processes to increase quality, throughput, and efficiency
* Creation and maintenance of process architectures, FMEAs, process descriptions (SOPs), and work instructions
* Implementation of Lean and Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, Kaizen), value stream mapping, and capacity planning
* Participation in the introduction of process key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor process performance
* Support in the implementation of automation and digitalization solutions (e.g., MES, ERP integration)
* Participation in audits, quality and safety standards (GxP, ISO, HACCP, depending on the industry)
* Collaboration with Production, Supply Chain, Quality Management, Maintenance and IT
* Creation of validation and verification plans as well as documentation for change management
* Training of employees on new processes and working methods
