Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of "Electrical Engineering", "Electronics" and "Mechatronics"
Subjects - Electrical Engineering & Electronics: Measurement & Control Technology / Digital Systems / Communication Systems / Software Engineering / Production Technology / Drive Technology / Mechatronics / Automation Technology / Industrial Engineering / Computer-aided Project Development
Further knowledge: Robotics / Computer-aided Design (CAD) / Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) software
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies                                     
Completed training or studies in Electrical Engineering / Automation Engineering / Mechatronics or a comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES: 
* Operation, optimization and further development of process control systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC-based systems)
* Configuration, parameterization and calibration of process control loops (temperature, pressure, flow, and concentration controls)
* Processing data monitoring, alarm management, troubleshooting and rapid error resolution
* Creation of PLC/interface programs, HMI design, and diagram layout
* Setting up, commissioning, and validation activities for new processes or systems
* Support in process optimization, efficiency increases, and quality improvements
* Documentation of changes, preparing reports, and approvals according to quality and safety standards
* Collaboration with Production, Process Engineering, Automation, QA/QC, and EHS

A - Solid experience in Process Automation, Control Engineering & Industrial Electrical Engineering B - Knowledge of PLC programs, SCADA/DCS systems, HMI design C - Experience with process control, control strategies (PID), troubleshooting & data analysis D - Basic knowledge of measurement & control technologies advantageous E - Basic knowledge of sensors and drive technology (VFD, servo) advantageous F - Reading technical documentation, circuit diagrams & flow charts G - Problem-solving oriented, structured & independent working style H - Good time & priority management, willingness to works shifts or on-call I - Teamwork ability & strong communication skills J - Good written and spoken German & English skills
