Job Description

QUALIFICATION:

6 semester training as bachelor's degree program at Universities of Applied Sciences including the following key curriculum topics:
Models, Theories & Fields of Occupational Therapy / Pedagogy / Sociology / Psychology / Anatomy / Ethics / Hygiene / Community-based Rehabilitation / Case Management / Project Management / Quality Management 

•        This profession can only be practiced after completing the legally prescribed training
•        Professional activities are based on the legally prescribed training content
•        Registration in the “Register of Health Professions” is mandatory to practice this profession

Completed training or studies as an Occupational Therapist (Bachelor's/Master's or state-recognized)

ACTIVITIES: 
* Conducting occupational therapy assessments and treatments to promote daily living skills (ADL), motor skills, cognition & psychosocial functions
* Development of individualized therapy concepts, document findings, treatment plans, and progress
* Close collaboration with physicians, therapists from other disciplines, nurses, and family members
* Advising and training patients, family members, and caregivers
* Participation in the development and implementation of geriatric, neurological, or rehabilitative therapy concepts
* Ensuring hygiene, safety, and data protection standards
* Participation in regular team meetings, continuing education programs, and quality assurance
