Job Description

Mechatronics = combination of Mechanics and Electronics, incorporating Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering 

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years in higher technical institutions in "Mechatronics"
Subjects: Mechanics & Elements of Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering & Electronics / Mechatronic Systems & Automation / Manufacturing & Operational Technology / Applied Computer Science & Subject-specific Information Technology / Design & Project Management 
Further knowledge: Robotics & Handling / Information Technology / CAD (Computer Aided Design) / Automation Technology / Measurement, Control & Regulation Technology
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational options:
1- Mechatronics Technician -> Apprenticeship
2 - Mechatronics Technician -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences

Completed training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Assembly, assembly preparation, and commissioning of mechatronic systems
* Error analysis, diagnostics, and rapid troubleshooting
* Maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic components
* Conducting commissioning, functional tests, and acceptance processes
* Documentation of maintenance and fault reports, preparation of test and work reports
* Support in the maintenance of machinery, systems, and infrastructure
* Collaboration with electrical, mechanical, IT, and QC/QA departments
* Implementation of safety and quality standards (e.g., DIN/ISO standards)
