QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in "Mechanical Engineering" or " Machine Engineering" or "Plant Engineering" in combination with various focuses:
Environmental Technology / Vehicle Technology / Plant Engineering / Mining Machinery Engineering / Automation Technology
Subjects: Design & Project Management / Mechanics & Machine Elements / Manufacturing & Production Technology / Electrical Engineering & Automation Technology
Further knowledge: CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technology / CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Technology / Welding Technology
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Educational option:
Mechanical Engineer -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

ACTIVITIES:
* Development, calculation, and dimensioning of mechanical components and systems
* Support of assembly and project runs from the concept phase to series production
* Creation of 3D models, drawings, parts lists, and technical specifications
* Conducting detailed and strength calculations, FEM analyses, and tolerance analyses
* Collaboration with purchasing, production, quality assurance, and customer service
* Support  in prototype construction, testing, commissioning, and validation
* Conducting cost-benefit analyses, schedules, and risk assessments
* Documentation, preparation of technical reports, and change management support
