QUALIFICATION:
Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in "Industrial Engineering" with a particular focus on "Mechanical Engineering"
Subjects: Business Management & Commercial Law / Operations Technology / Computer Science & Information Systems / Design & Calculation / Materials & Manufacturing Technology / Production Technology / Machines, Systems & Automation
Further knowledge: Turning / Milling / Soldering / Welding / Planning, Design & Simulation Software like CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing), CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Completed studies in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or similar
ACTIVITIES:
* Optimization of production processes and value chains, taking into account costs, quality, time, and resources
* Design reviews and improvements of machines, systems, and layouts (shop floor) using Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methods
* Development, validation, and implementation of manufacturing technologies (e.g., automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, digitalization)
* Creation of process and work plans, cycle time determination, capacity and resource planning
* Conducting FMEA, risk analyses, and quality methods for defect prevention
* Collaboration with mechanical engineering, electrical/electronics, IT, production, and quality assurance
* Cost and investment analyses, business cases, ROI assessments
* Supporting acceptance, qualification & validation (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ), and validation of production processes
* Training of employees on new processes, work instructions, and best practices
