QUALIFICATION:
Education:
Completed degree in Psychology with 300 ECTS credits -> Postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology with totally 2,500 hours over a maximum of 5 years (possibly to be completed at e. g. universities)

Interviewing & Communication Skills / Acute Intervention / Crisis Intervention / Emergency Psychology / Counseling Methods & Settings / Psychological Treatment Measures for people of all ages / Use of clinical psychological tools for various mental disorders / Psychopharmacology & Psychopathology / Techniques & Intervention Strategies for clinical psychological treatment and counseling / Patient Management / Interface Management

• This profession can only be practiced after completing the legally prescribed training
• Professional activities are based on the legally prescribed training content
• Registration in the “Register of Clinical Psychologists” is mandatory to practice this profession

Completed university degree in Psychology (Diploma/Bachelor/Master's) with licensure or certification as a Clinical Psychologist or Psychological Psychotherapist (depending on regional requirements)

ACTIVITIES:
* Clinical diagnostics and therapeutic support for patients
* Conducting psychological assessments, tests, and follow-up diagnostics
* Preparation of expert opinions, diagnostic reports, and follow-up reports
* Development of individual treatment plans in consultation with physicians and the therapeutic team
* Participation in multi-professional casework, teamwork, and supervision structures
* Conducting individual, couples, or group therapy based on evidence-based methods
* Documentation in accordance with data protection and quality standards
* Supporting crisis interventions and emergency situations as needed
* Continuing education and training as well as contributing to quality assurance
