QUALIFICATION:
Education: 3 years at technical schools or 5 years in higher technical institutions in "Mechanical Engineering", "Mechatronics" or "Electrical Engineering"
Subjects - Mechanical Engineering: Design & Project Management / Mechanics / Machine Elements / Mechatronics / Applied Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology / Manufacturing & Production Technology
Subjects - Electrical Engineering: Energy Systems / Information Technology / Production Technology / Drive Technology / Mechatronics / Automation Technology / Industrial Engineering / Computer-aided Project Development
Further knowledge: Robotics / Smart Engineering / Computer-aided Design (CAD) / CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Technology / Welding Technology / Software Development
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Completed technical training, e. g. in Machining Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology or a comparable qualification - alternatively a relevant degree
ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, set up and optimization of CAM processes (e. g. milling, turning, additive manufacturing) using common CAM systems (e. g. Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, HyperMILL, Fusion 360 CAM)
* Programming of NC (Numerical Control) components, creation of machining strategies, milling and turning paths
* Creation and maintenance of machining documents, inspection and documentation files
* Coordination with Production, Tool Making, Quality and Development to ensure manufacturability
* Optimization of process flows, tool initialization, post-processor adaptation
* Support in commissioning, program verification and error analysis on machines
