QUALIFICATION:

Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in the fields of “Electronics & Computer Engineering” / “Electrical Engineering” or “Mechatronics”
Key curriculum topics – Electronics & Computer Engineering:
Hardware Development / Measurement Technology & Control Systems / Digital Systems & Computer Technology / Network Technology / Communications Electronics / Software Engineering / Electronics Design / Prototype Construction 
Further knowledge: SMD Technology / Digital Technology / Manufacturing Technology / PCB Design
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering / Communications Engineering / Microsystems Engineering, or a comparable qualification

 ACTIVITIES:
* Development and further advancement of hardware architectures for embedded and microcontroller systems
* Creation of circuit designs (analogue/digital), printed circuit board layout (PCB design), and verification
* Selection of suitable components, interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN), and sensors
* Conducting simulations, prototyping, debugging, and troubleshooting of hardware and interfaces
* Collaboration with firmware development, mechanics, PCB manufacturing, and quality assurance
* Planning test strategies, validation tests, EMC tests, and environmental testing
* Documentation of circuit diagrams, layouts, bill of materials (BOM), and acceptance protocols
* Support in production releases, delivery labels, and series production
* Continuous optimization of costs, weight, heat dissipation, and reliability
