Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in “Computer Science”
Subjects: Cloud Computing / Database Query Languages / Software Engineering / Data Science / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option:
Database Developer -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Completed degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or a comparable qualification – alternatively relevant professional experience

ACTIVITIES:
* Design, implementation and optimization of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB)
* Development of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries to support applications
* Data modelling (logical/physical), normalization/denormalization, and data architecture design
* Conducting performance tuning, indexes, query optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting
* Executing data migration, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing architectures, and integration into data pipelines
* Collaboration with developers, data engineers, and analysts during implementation and deployment
* Securing access to data, taking data protection and compliance aspects into account
* Documentation of data structures, master data schemas, and operational manuals
