QUALIFICATION:

Education: 5 years at higher technical institutions in "Computer Science" or  “Electronics”, “Technical Computer Science”
Subjects – Computer Science: Software Engineering / Cyber Security / Artificial Intelligence / Databases / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting 
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Educational option:
Software Tester -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences 

Completed IT training or degree in Computer Science / Software Testing or comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Planning, execution and documentation of manual and automated tests (unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests)
* Development, maintenance and execution of test cases, test scenarios, and test data
* Creation and maintenance of automated test suites (e.g., with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit/tests in CI/CD pipelines)
* Supporting build, release, and continuous integration processes
* Identification, reporting and tracking of errors (bug tracking) in close collaboration with developers, product owners, and DevOps
* Contribution to test strategy, test concepts, and quality metrics
* Ensuring requirements, acceptance criteria, and regression tests
* Documentation of tests, creating reports on quality, risks, and acceptance criteria
* Participation in the release and rollout process and supporting with post-release validation
