QUALIFICATION:
Education: 5 years at higher technical institution in “Computer Science” or “Computer Engineering”
Key curriculum topics: Cyber Security / Network Technologies & Communications Technology / Database Administration / Cloud Computing / Project Management / Business Administration / Accounting
Additional qualification: SAP or Cisco (school-dependent)
Practical experience: School-owned workshops as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies 
Educational option:
Data Security Expert -> Studies at University / University of Applied Sciences

Completed degree in Computer Science / IT Security / Mathematics, or a comparable qualification

ACTIVITIES:
* Development, implementation and further development of data protection and security strategies, policies, and processes
* Conducting risk analyses, threat and vulnerability assessments, and security architectures for data and information systems
* Advising departments on data governance, data classification, DLP strategies, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, BDSG)
* Monitoring of data protection and security incidents, incident response, and forensic analyses
* Participation in the development of data loss prevention, encryption concepts, identity and access management, and logging/monitoring
* Collaboration with IT, legal, audit, and business stakeholders; creation of reports, dashboards, and metrics
* Evaluation of new technologies and tools in the area of ​​data security 
* Supporting certifications and audits
