Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
Education: 3 years in technical schools or 5 years in higher technical institutions in "Mechanical Engineering" with specialization in various fields:
Industrial Design / Plant Technology / Robotics / Smart Engineering
Subjects: Design & Project Management / Mechanics & Machine Elements / Manufacturing & Production Technology / Electrical Engineering & Automation Technology
Further knowledge: CAD (Computer Aided Design) Technology / CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) Technology / Welding Technology
Practical experience: School-owned workshops and laboratories as well as through multi-week mandatory internships in companies
Educational option:
Design Technician -> Apprenticeship 
Completed Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or comparable qualification (e.g., Mechanical Engineering Technician)

ACTIVITIES: 
* Independently designing machines, systems, and assemblies in 3D (e.g., using SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo)
* Creating production and assembly drawings and parts lists
* Technically coordinating with Project Management, Production, Purchasing and customers
* Supporting projects from concept to implementation
* Continuously optimizing existing designs with regard to cost, function, and manufacturability
* Supporting the creation of technical documentation
