Job Description

QUALIFICATION: 
3.5 years apprenticeship - in combination with an additional main or special module = 4 years duration

ACTIVITIES: 
* Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical operating systems, power distribution, and automation systems
* Troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rapid repairs of electrical systems
* Planning and implementation of modernization and upgrade projects (circuit diagrams, wiring, protection concepts)
* Preparation of technical documentation, test specifications, and maintenance plans
* Support in the maintenance of machinery, plant fleets, and infrastructure (HVAC, building services, control systems)
* Collaboration with electronics, mechanics, IT, and safety technology
* Implementation of standards, safety, and environmental requirements (e.g., VDE, ISO, EN standards)

A - In-depth knowledge of electrical installation & protection concepts B - In-depth knowledge of control technology, drive technology, and automation C - Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and control cabinet construction D - Experience with power distribution, and precision electrical engineering E - Familiarity with measuring and testing equipment (multimeter, continuity tester, oscilloscope) F - Problem-solving skills, meticulous work ethic, and teamwork ability G - Willingness to work on assembly lines, on-call, or occasionally travel depending on the location H - Very good German & English language skills
