QUALIFICATION:

6 semester training as bachelor's degree program at Universities of Applied Sciences including the following key curriculum topics:
Applied & Specific Bioanalytics
Medical-scientific fundamentals: Anatomy / Physiology / Pathology / Chemistry / Cell Biology 
Analytical methods in biomedical laboratory analysis: Haematology / Clinical Chemistry / Histology / Microbiology / Immunohematology / Cytology / Immunology / Molecular Biology / Functional Diagnostic Testing Methods / Ethics / Process & Quality Management 
 

• This profession can only be practiced after completing the legally prescribed training
• Professional activities are based on the legally prescribed training content
• Registration in the “Register of Health Professions” is mandatory to practice this profession

Completed university degree in Biomedicine / Life Sciences / Bioinformatics / Medical Informatics or a related field - Doctorate is advantageous

ACTIVITIES:
* Analytical evaluation of biomedical measurement data (e.g., genomics, proteomics, imaging, clinical laboratory data)
* Development, validation, and implementation of bioinformatics and statistical workflows
* Supporting role in research projects, clinical trials, and translational projects
* Preparation, quality assurance, and documentation of datasets according to GxP standards
* Collaboration with laboratories, IT, clinical teams, and external partners
* Preparation of technical reports, presentations, and visualizations
* Support in the selection of analysis methods, software, and automation solutions
